Rescuing, Autonomously, People Trapped in Rubble
The project brief was to design a semi-autonomous robot that would pick up a package, climb two six-inch steps, autonomously navigate a maze, and then deliver the package. We added our own top criteria: Look awesome while doing all of this better than every one else.

Mission: Accomplished.

The tracks are custom-made: we cast urethane around a 1" kevlar core in CNCed HDPE molds. Those thick 1" teeth? They allow RAPTR to climb 12" steps -- twice the required height.

A close-up view of the super-nasty looking RAPTARM. Worked good too!
